Location:Desmarais Building - 55 Laurier Avenue EastUniversity of Ottawa Overview:CIPS Panel Discussion: During the CIPS Panel discussion, students within the IT field will have the opportunity to hear what today's IT executives are looking for in new graduates. The event will be composed of a Panel Discussion – where 4 executives from the IT world will get to share ideas about industry trends, new technologies, and what's going to be hot in the years to come. The discussion will be guided through questions – which can be shared with the panelists ahead of time. The students will also get to ask their own questions during the Q&A period after the discussion. The Panel Discussion will be followed by cocktails, where students will get to network with the panelists – as well as with their colleagues. The CIPS part of the event should be over by 7pm, although panelists are welcome to stay for the rest of the evening. The panel discussion has always been very well received by the students.
