CIPScene February 2005

The Management Information Systems Association (MISA) would like to invite CIPS members, patrons and students to their 13th annual Wine and Cheese.

The theme of last year's event was "earn your Masters In Success" where we had excellent guest speakers teach students valuable networking and personal selling skills. This year we are planning an even bigger event with a new venue and highly respected industry leaders in Information Technology as guest speakers.

The event is being held at Space Nightclub (104 Clarence Street) on Tuesday March 1st, 2005 from 5:30-9:00pm. The evening will begin with a social from 5:30-6:30pm with the actual event following afterwards. Dr. Lyne Bouchard of Gartner Research and Louis Savoie from Bell Canada are our confirmed speakers. The focus of this year's event is to educate students and business leaders about new and emerging trends in IT, as well as encourage students to learn communication techniques that will enable them to reach their goals. This cannot be accomplished without your support!

Cost to attend:

• Free for Professionals and CIPS members
• $5 for MISA members
• $7 for Engineering Students Society (ESS) and Computer Science Students Association (CSSA) members
• $10 for non-members

Students can reserve their tickets by emailing the VP Projects of MISA at inaana_misa@hotmail.com. Once reserved, tickets can be picked up at the door.
