Canadian IT profession. CIPS Manitoba administers the regulations, standards, education, and discipline of the I.S.P. designation in Manitoba.
The I.S.P. (Information Systems Professional) is the professional designation for Information Technology professionals in Canada. The I.S.P. is the credential that matters, whether you are an IT practitioner, an HR manager employing or contracting IT workers, or a business seeking to purchase IT products or services. The I.S.P. designation is your assurance of the highest standards of quality, knowledge, and ethics.
The I.S.P. was introduced in 1989, is an internationally recognized designation, and is currently a registered professional designation in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Manitoba and other provinces are making rapid progress towards registration of the I.S.P.
